HAMILTON On Sale August 1

HAMILTON makes its Charlotte debut at Belk Theater October 10 through November 4. Tickets for the national tour of the Tony Award- and Pulitzer Prize-winning Broadway musical go on sale Wednesday, August 1 beginning at 8 AM. 

Here are some last minute tips to make sure you're ready to go.

#1: Do Your Homework

• Visit BlumenthalArts.org/HamOnSale for important information about purchasing through CarolinaTix, Blumenthal's official ticketing system and the ONLY authorized source for tickets.
• Make sure you have an active CarolinaTix account and that you know your password BEFORE August 1. Check your account (or set one up) here.
• If you have any issues with your account, call 704.372.1000 between 10 AM and 6 PM Monday-Friday by July 31.

#2: Plan Your Purchase Strategy

• There are two ways to purchase tickets: online and on-site at the Belk Theater Box Office. Tickets will not be available by phone, so don't include that option in your game plan.

Online sales: Visit tix.CarolinaTix.org/Hamilton starting at 5 AM on August 1. You will be placed into a virtual waiting room and randomly assigned a spot at 8 AM.

Box Office sales: In-person sales at the Belk Theater Box Office will be conducted using a wristband lottery. Wristband distribution will take place from 5:30 AM to 7 AM on August 1 at Belk Theater Plaza.​

• Decide in advance which performances and price zones you want. Choose several options in case your first choice is not available if your turn to purchase arrives. If you need to coordinate with friends or family, do so before tomorrow. You'll only have 10 minutes to complete your online order.
• Do not attempt to buy more than the 4-ticket limit. That's another way to risk your opportunity; you may run out of time or have the system flag you as a potential bot and stop processing your order.

#3: Be Ready to Go on Wednesday

• Make sure the credit card you're using to purchase matches the name and address on your CarolinaTix account whether you're buying online or in person.
• Know your CarolinaTix account login and password. Check ahead of time that it is working.
• Decide in advance which price zone and performance you want, keeping multiple options in mind. If you're purchasing at the Box Office, fill out the pre-order form you'll receive when you get your wristband.
• Don't try to purchase more than 4 tickets.
• Online sales: The computer will assign you the best seat available in your selected performance and price zone. Take it and run! Your time could expire if you spend too long comparing your options.
• Box Office sales: Bring a photo ID that matches the name and address on your CarolinaTix account.
