Sound System
- Mix Position: Located back of Orchestra audience chamber, 54’ from plaster line. Permanent. 7.5’ wide, 6” deep. Shared with lighting.
- Console: DiGiCo SD9 (Stealth Core 2). (1) D-Rack (32x8). (1) D2-Rack (48x16). WAVES card installed (no server).
- System Processing: BSS Soundweb London BLU handles all distribution and processing. d&b system processed by 30D amps.
- CD Players: (2) Denon C635. Both w/ wired remotes.
- Main PA System: (2) d&b audiotechnik 24s (aimed to Orchestra level seating), (2) d&b audiotechnik 24s (aimed to Balcony level seating), (8) d&b audiotechnik 5s (lip fills).
- Subs: (4) d&b audiotechnik 27s flown aux fed.
- Vocal Center Channel: (1) d&b audiotechnik 24s-d (aimed front seating area), (1) d&b audiotechnik 24s-d (aimed back seating area), (2) d&b audiotechnik 10s (aimed at upper boxes), (3) d&b audiotechnik 10s-d and (2) d&b audiotechnik 5s (under balcony fill).
- Monitor Speakers: (4) Radian RPX-108p (passive 2-way). (8) Fulcrum Acoustic FA12ac (powered active 2-way). (1) Fulcrum Acoustic TS215ac available upon request (powered sub).
- Paging: Backstage paging stations located, DSL, DSR, Tech Table and FOH Mix. Priority override.
- Show Relay: Backstage relay available in all backstage areas. Volume has page priority override.
- Listening Assist: Williams Sound FM ALS System. Distribution station located in HM’s office.
- Intercom: Green-GO digital system with wired beltpack connections throughout stage area. Four wireless beltpacks included. Default configuration is single channel. Other configurations available. Clear-Com/Audiocom wet bridge available.
Loading Dock
Interior loading dock controlled by Bank of America. Prior authorization required for all use. Back in blind from N. College St. Three truck dock (two levelers, third needs dock plate). Two dock doors, 12’ wide 15’ high. Dock is stage level. There is a slight downward slope towards dock doors. All equipment uses freight elevator to reach stage.
Freight Elevator
Freight Elevator connects L2 (basement), L1 (dock), 2nd and 3rd (stage) floors. Door is 8’ x 8’. Interior dimension is 10’ wide x 20’ long x 8’ high. Elevator has a 10,000lb capacity.
SM Calling Desk
SM calling desk is DSL. Desk is standing height with storage and a video monitor showing the stage from balcony. Additional video monitor on SR. Microphone provided for backstage paging and god mic.
Union Information
The Booth Playhouse primarily uses BPA House Staff. Stagehands, as needed above the House Staff, are provided by IATSE Local 322. Local 322 is a mixed local representing all crafts and truck loaders. Venue has no other union contracts (AFM, Equity, etc.).

Inventory - Pianos
All pianos are shared amongst the three venues at Blumenthal Performing Arts Center. Pianos must be reserved in advance and tuned by BPA’s piano tuner.
