Lighting Control

Lighting Positions

See lighting plot for information about pre-wired lighting positions. Grid is 10’ x 10’ boxes w/ movable Socapex 6ch mults.

Sound System

• Mix Position: Located against back corner (5th st and College St.) wall. Permanent. 11’ wide, 4’ deep. Shared with lighting.
• Console: Midas M32 LIVE w/ 32x16 stage mult.
• System Processing: BSS Soundweb London BLU handles all distribution and processing. d&b system processed by D6/D12 controller amps.
• PA System: 2 d&b Audiotechnik Q10’s per side w/ 2 Q-Subs under the stage.
• Monitor Speakers: 6 Radian RPX-108p (passive 2-way).
• Show Relay: Backstage relay available in Dressing Rooms.
• Listening Assist: Williams Sound FM ALS System. Distribution station located in HM’s office.
• Intercom: Green-GO digital system with wired beltpack connections throughout stage area. Four wireless beltpacks included. Default configuration is single channel. Clear-Com/Audiocom wet bridge available.

Loading Dock

Interior loading dock controlled by Bank of America. Prior authorization required for all use. Back in blind from N. College St. Three truck dock (two levelers, third needs dock plate). Two dock doors, 12’ wide 15’ high. Dock is stage level. There is a slight downward slope towards dock doors.

SM Calling Desk

Located in lighting/sound control position. Shared space.

Union Information

Stage Door Theater primarily uses BPA House Staff. Stagehands, as needed above the House Staff, are provided by IATSE Local 322. Local 322 is a mixed local representing all crafts and truck loaders. Venue has no other union contracts (AFM, Equity, etc.).

• Dressing Rooms are located one floor below the Stage Door Theater, alternative dressing room and green room space may be available by advance only.
• Public WiFi is available in all areas. SSID is BPAGUEST.

Inventory - Lighting

• This section is undergoing rolling changes due to supply chain delays, please advance lighting with venue production mananger.

Inventory - Pianos

All pianos are shared amongst the three venues at Blumenthal Performing Arts Center. Pianos must be reserved in advance and tuned by BPA’s piano tuner.
