Event Description

Come along with your CSO on a musical tour of our very own neighborhood: Charlotte! From the spirited buzz of Uptown to the peaceful quiet of the surrounding countryside, this concert takes you skyscraping, BBQ-boasting, and gold-rushing with music that inspires curiosity and excitement in our hometown's “hornet’s nest” of sounds!

We welcome young audiences to these one-hour Family Series concerts, designed for kids ages 4-9, that engage all the senses and make learning about the orchestra fun. Babes in arms (under 2 years of age) attending on a parent or guardian’s lap are admitted free of charge for Family Series concerts.

Directions & Parking

A special preferred parking rate of only $10* is available for our patrons in our designated garage.

Located at 550 S. Tryon Street with an entrance on West Brooklyn Village Avenue.

Pay as you enter the garage.

*The $10 rate is applicable when parked in the garage after 5pm on weekdays, Mon – Fri. If parked in the garage before 5pm, the $10 rate is void. There is no time restriction for the weekend, Sat & Sun.

Venue Information Knight Theater

Knight Theater seats 1,192 within its orchestra, grand tier and mezzanine levels. A variety of dance and music shows are hosted here. The venue is physically connected and shares lobby space with the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art.
