Event Description
No Rest for the Wicked: Gregory Maguire
Gregory Maguire, author of the New York Times Bestseller turned Broadway hit Wicked, has largely retired from public appearances, but he is making an exception for CharlOz. In this not-to-be-missed event, Maguire will start with his childhood experiences of reading and watching the 1939 MGM film The Wizard of Oz. Mr. Maguire will then consider the inspiration, ideas, and development behind his novel Wicked and its further iterations, the Broadway show, and the forthcoming films.
