Blumenthal Announces ENCORE SERIES Featuring the Return of Five Tony Award Best Musical Winners

By Becky Bereiter Charlotte, NC (July 5, 2017) – Blumenthal Performing Arts is pleased to announce its new ENCORE SERIES. Great seats are now available for five of Broadway’s all-time greatest hits, including Les Misérables, Cameron Mackintosh’s spectacular new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera and a fan favorite in Charlotte, Beautiful – The Carole King Musical. Plus, back by popular demand, The Book of Mormon and the awe-inspiring visual artistry alive on stage, Disney’s The Lion King.
Each of these spectacular shows was honored with Broadway’s biggest prize – the Tony Award for Best Musical.
“We're celebrating our first 25 years by welcoming to Charlotte many of the best musicals in the history of Broadway," said Blumenthal President and CEO Tom Gabbard.
ENCORE SERIES ticket buyers will enjoy some great benefits that come only with Season Tickets. Perks include securing the best seats at the best price, before single tickets go on sale and prices rise. Buyers can also choose an extended payment plan that allows them to pay for their series tickets in up to ten installments (call 704-335-1010 for this option.).
ENCORE SERIES ticket holders will also enjoy the right to swap up to two of their shows for anything else coming this season or next. Swapping for 2017-18 PNC Broadway Lights shows, excluding Hamilton, will be available at a later date based on availability.
