Charlotte, NC – Blumenthal Performing Arts announces three shows going on sale to the public on Friday, Dec. 3, at 10 a.m.  From the comedy of Celebrity Autobiography to Tony® Award-winning SPRING AWAKENING to the Irish spectacle of Celtic Crossroads, the Blumenthal presents a variety of performances this winter.

Celebrity Autobiography
How does Vanna flip her panels? What does Stallone have in his freezer? What makes the Jonas Brothers get along? Find out all this and more in the hit comedy Celebrity Autobiography, where superstar’s memoirs are acted out on stage. Audiences often walk away asking, “Did the stars actually write that?” The answer: Yes, we didn’t have to make this stuff up!
Created and developed by Emmy nominated writer-performer Eugene Pack and Dayle Reyfel, Celebrity Autobiography features a comedic ensemble performing from actual celebrity memoirs. The passages run the gamut from the “poetry” of Suzanne Somers to the shocking “romance tips” from Tommy Lee to the most famous love triangle in Hollywood history: Elizabeth Taylor, Debbie Reynolds and Eddie Fisher.
Running for three sold-out years in New York, Celebrity Autobiography won the 2009 Drama Desk Award for Unique Theatrical Experience and the 2010 Bistro Awards.

Just when you think that you have seen the best that Irish music has to offer, a fresh new show from Ireland is taking the art form to an entirely new level. Celtic Crossroads presents Irish music like never before, set to do to Irish music what Riverdance has done to Irish dance.
The concerts are a spectacle of talent, displaying how Irish music influenced the global birth of a multitude of musical genres. This show is redefining Irish music by going right to the heart of its rhythms. The inventive arrangements and bass-driven grooves are steering Irish acoustic music into surprising new territory. On its first American visit, word-of mouth alone led to a sell out tour.
