Charlotte, NC - The hit comedy CHARLOTTE SQUAWKS debuts at Booth Playhouse June 10-25, with its latest edition: 7-YEAR BIT©#.

The creative team of Mike Collins and Brian Kahn collaborate with the area’s most talented singers, dancers and actors to parody pop culture, politics, sports and our beloved Queen City.

Think of it as Broadway meets Saturday Night Live meets Charlotte.

The 10-member cast will perform about 30 songs, including “Tea Party in the USA” (with Sarah Palin putting her own twist on a Miley Cyrus song); “The Fandom of the Oprah” (a PHANTOM parody about the queen of all media); “No HUD in Ballantyne” (to the tune of “My Funny Valentine”); and “Do You Hear the People Cringe?” (a LES MISERABLES-inspired song about the Panthers). From the NASCAR Hall of Fame to the newfound fame of GLEE... nothing is sacred!
