Disney's THE LION KING - Single Tickets On Sale Fri., April 26

Charlotte, NC – Disney Theatrical Productions and Blumenthal Performing Arts announced today that tickets for the long-awaited return engagement of Disney’s THE LION KING will go on sale to the public on Friday, April 26 at 10 a.m.  Charlotte’s most eagerly awaited return will once again leap onto the Belk Theater stage on Tuesday, Aug. 6 for a limited engagement of four weeks through Sunday, Sept. 1. The opening night is Thursday, Aug. 8 at 7:30 p.m.   THE LION KING’s sold-out five-week Charlotte premiere engagement in 2003 at the Belk Theater at Blumenthal Performing Arts Center was followed by a sold-out six-week return in 2007.

In Charlotte, THE LION KING will play Tuesday through Thursday evenings at 7:30 p.m., Friday and Saturdays at 8 p.m., Saturday matinees at 2 p.m. and Sundays at 1:00 and 6:30 p.m. Premium Ticket Packages, which include a prime seat location, a commemorative souvenir program and an exclusive merchandise item, are also available. Beginning Friday, April 26, at 10 a.m., tickets will be available at the Belk Theater Box Office, by phone at 704.372.1000 and online at BlumenthalArts.org. Orders for groups of twenty (20) or more may be placed by calling 704.379.1380.

Ticket buyers are reminded that BlumenthalArts.org and CarolinaTix.org are the only official retail ticket outlets for all performances at Belk Theater. Ticket buyers who purchase tickets from a ticket broker or any third party, should be aware that Blumenthal Performing Arts is unable to reprint or replace lost or stolen tickets and is unable to contact patrons with information regarding time changes or other pertinent updates regarding the performance.
