Local Artist to Debut Stunning Clay Works: Kerrin Kane Hopper Exhibits New Work in Solo Show at the Wachovia Gallery in Spirit Square
Charlotte, NC - Artist Kerrin Kane Hopper will exhibit two and three-dimensional pieces that utilize vibrant colors, retro fashion trends and contemporary designs in “Klay Kouture,” at Wachovia Gallery in Spirit Square starting in November. The mixed media collection features paintings and clay works.
"Klay Kouture" debuts Friday, Nov. 5, 7-9 p.m.  The exhibit runs through Jan. 31.
Hopper holds a BA from the University of Texas at Austin and a MA from Winthrop University in Rock Hill.  She taught music and art in both public and private schools until 2003, but now spends most of her time in her Fort Mill studio throwing, sculpting and painting. 
Hopper’s work can be found in a number of galleries on the East coast including Red Sky Gallery in Charlotte.
The Wachovia Gallery in Spirit Square is open to the public Monday-Friday, 9-6 p.m. and Saturday-Sunday, 1-6 p.m.
