At Blumenthal Performing Arts, every curtain rise, every note, and every performance is a testament to the transformative power of the arts. We truly couldn’t do it without the support of our creative community.
Blumenthal’s Legacy Society pays tribute to visionary supporters who help to preserve our community’s artistic future for the enrichment of generations to follow with designation in their wills or other planned gifts. Legacy Society members are given opportunities to become more deeply connected with Blumenthal, including special behind-the-scenes events and gatherings, lifelong Producers Circle membership, and special acknowledgment in all donor listings unless otherwise requested.
Some easy ways that others have made a lasting impact with a planned gift include through a will or trust, retirement plan, insurance policy or annuity, or through many other giving vehicles. Including a legacy gift of any size to Blumenthal in your plans ensures that the magic of the arts continues to inspire, uplift, and transform lives.

A note from Legacy Society members Eva and George Raftelis:
Eva and I have lived in the greater Charlotte area for about 50 years. Our interest in Blumenthal started decades ago, and we have witnessed the amazing growth and evolution from a well-intentioned performing arts group in Charlotte, to a high performing model for the industry.
Blumenthal offers so many programs for students to realize their artistic dreams and opportunities for the community to experience art in new ways that Charlotte has never seen before. All of these observations have expanded our support of Blumenthal, and Eva and I have created an endowment fund to support student internships, provide tickets and opportunities to underserved neighbors, and to expand the footprint of Blumenthal in the community.
At the time of our passing, we have included additional funding to our endowment in our plans so we can ensure the future of Blumenthal’s programming for generations to come.
