Limited Number of PNC Broadway Lights Season Tickets Available to New Buyers via a Waiting List Process

By Becky Bereiter (Charlotte, NC) - Blumenthal Performing Arts will offer the opportunity to purchase PNC Broadway Lights season tickets to the general public through a random selection process from a season ticket waiting list, while supplies last.
Interested buyers must register on the waiting list by June 30, 2017 at 11:59 PM. Only customers who register on the waiting list will be able to purchase season tickets at this time.
To register for the waiting list or get more details, visit BlumenthalArts.org/WaitingList. You can also request a wait list detail sheet by calling 704-335-1010. Interested buyers should register only once. Duplicate names will be removed prior to randomizing the list and beginning the process of contacting selected parties.
“More than 90 percent of our current season ticket buyers renewed their tickets and with a base of more than 14,000 current subscribers and smaller package buyers to accommodate and only 16,500 seats in Belk Theater, the availability for new buyers is limited,” said Blumenthal President Tom Gabbard. “The good news is that some great seats are still available, including our orchestra and grand tier areas. But it is unlikely that PNC Broadway Lights season tickets will be available this year beyond those purchased through the waiting list process. We encourage anyone who is interested to add their name to the list. The tremendous value of having a guaranteed seat that is renewable annually via a season ticket has been clearly demonstrated this year and we are happy that we can offer the opportunity to acquire this great benefit to some new buyers.”

The cost of PNC Broadway Lights season tickets range from $836.50 to $283.50 (state sales tax will be added) per season ticket depending on seat location, performance date/time and whether a buyer selects an eight or nine-show season. Season tickets may be paid for in full or with a ten-payment plan with the first payment due at the time of order.
Season tickets are currently available at all price levels except VIP, which is entirely sold-out. But availability varies by performance day and time. Options are extremely limited for all price levels for Friday and Saturday evening.
Blumenthal will begin to contact wait list registrants the second week of July and continue to contact the randomized wait list registrants while supplies last. Registering for the list does not guarantee the opportunity to purchase as the available seats may be sold out before all names are contacted. Each buyer will be limited to purchasing no more than two season tickets.
A PNC Broadway Lights Season Ticket includes a guaranteed seat for the season shows and the option to renew that seat (or upgrade to a better one) annually plus other special benefits like the option to swap up to four season shows for other events, an extended payment plan and free exchange.
