PNC Broadway Lights PICK YOUR SEAT NIGHT June 23

Charlotte, NC – Theater fans who would like to pick their seats in person for Blumenthal’s PNC Broadway Lights season tickets have the chance to do so on Monday, June 23, at this special, free event in Belk Theater.

Show fans are invited to drop by Belk between 5:30 and 8 p.m. to check out the sightlines throughout the theater. Once fans identify where they’d like to sit, Blumenthal ticketing staff will help them find open seats in that location for the shows of their choice, including the two mega hits playing multi-week engagements next season, The Phantom of the Opera and Motown the Musical.

Attendees also will have the opportunity to get inside information on how shows are scheduled and presented in Charlotte. Behind the Curtain, an insider Q&A with Blumenthal President Tom Gabbard, will be held at 6:15 p.m., followed by a backstage tour of Belk Theater at 7:15 p.m.  Visit BlumenthalArts.org/PickYourSeat for details.

Single tickets are not on sale at this time for most of Blumenthal’s new Broadway lineup, so season ticket buyers who attend Pick Your Seat Night will have the opportunity to purchase the best open seats for many shows. They also will get the benefit of the best pricing, since shows often increase their ticket price when single seats go on public sale.

Buyers at Pick Your Seat Night can select from a full seven or eight-show season ticket, which guarantees a renewable seat for next year, the same seat for all the shows in this year’s PNC Broadway Lights, and other exclusive season ticket buyer benefits. Season tickets buyers can choose extended payments and pay in equal monthly installments now through March 2015 and buyers at the Pick Your Seat event also will receive a $50 restaurant gift certificate with their order. 
The first 100 guests will receive a free gift. Everyone will have the chance to enter to win show tickets and other great prizes, as well as a $500 US Airways gift card. Free parking will be provided in the Bank of America Corporate garage after 5 p.m.
