CHARLOTTE, NC – The Blumenthal Performing Arts Center welcomes the Broadway smash hit THE COLOR PURPLE, The Musical about Love, back to Charlotte for eight performances only, Aug. 25-30 at the Belk Theater.

The Charlotte run of THE COLOR PURPLE in May played to capacity crowds each night, leading to the August return engagement. Tickets for this month’s shows are on sale now online at BlumenthalCenter.org, by phone at 704-372-1000 and at the Belk Theater box office. Seats are still available – including premium locations – for all performances but fans will find the best availability on Tuesday (8/25), Wednesday (8/26), Thursday (8/27) and Sunday (8/30) evenings.
