Tony Awards® Nominations Live Streaming Available on Website

Charlotte, NC – Blumenthal Performing Arts will live stream the Tony Nominations event webcast beginning at 8:30 a.m. EST Tuesday, May 3.  Visit BlumenthaArts.org/Tony for the video link. 
Past Tony Award® winners Matthew Broderick and Anika Noni Rose will announce the 2011 Tony Awards® Nominations live from New York City.
The 65th annual Tony Awards® take place on Sunday, June 12. 
Watch the live broadcast along with Charlotte area’s biggest theater fans during the Seventh Annual Tony Awards Party at McGlohon Theatre at Spirit Square.  Admission is free!  Doors open at 7 p.m., and the broadcast begins at 8 p.m.  Those attending will get sneak previews of the 2011-12 Duke Energy Broadway Lights Series and a chance to win prizes from tickets to show merchandise. 
Complimentary food will be served and a cash bar will be available.
