Can you dig it? Tony Award-winning musical “Some Like It Hot” comes to Belk Theater at Blumenthal Arts Center Nov 26-Dec 1. Located just one block from the theater and offering complimentary parking, The Asbury is the perfect restaurant to enjoy a meal before the show.
Our Chicago-themed pre-show dinner menu is full of dishes inspired by the show like Chi-Town Pretzels, Chicken Vesuvio, Hot Jazz Parmigiana, Midnight Club Brownie, and much more. This three-course menu is available nightly 5-6:15pm for just $40 per person.
Complimentary parking in the Fifth Third Bank garage (behind The Dunhill Hotel) is available to all Asbury guests, so dine with us and then take a short walk to Belk Theater. It’s the cat’s meow!
The Menu:
First Course:
- Chi-Town Pretzels: salted soft pretzels, beer cheese
- Bandstand Bites: deviled eggs
- Strings of Fire: crispy mozzarella sticks, marinara, parmesan
Second Course:
- Chicken Vesuvio: roasted airline chicken breast, herb garlic white wine sauce, peas, roasted potatoes
- Hot Jazz Parmigiana: rosemary-crusted fried eggplant, mozzarella cheese, spaghetti, basil tomato sauce, parmesan
- “Flat Iron” Steak: fried fingerling potatoes, seasonal mixed vegetables
- Sizzlin’ Salmon: seared garlic butter salmon, yellow rice pilaf, garlic-roasted green beans, tomato
Third Course:
- Midnight Club Brownie: warm walnut brownie, caramel, ice cream
- Sugar’s Strawberry Cream Cake: vanilla cake, strawberry cream, vanilla icing, strawberry glaze
- Speakeasy Tiramisu: sweet mascarpone cheese, fresh whipped cream, ladyfingers, cocoa
